Southern-Fried Gaming Expo 2026
This con was filled with joy (not deadly neurotoxin) as Ellen McLain (GLADoS) & John Patrick Lowrie (Sniper) guested at an Atlanta con for the first time in over a decade!
Saying Hello to Ellen McLain & John Patrick Lowrie!
Many fans got a chance to meet Sniper & the Administrator at SFGE as they proved to be popular guests! I think many who’ve met them can agree that they’re wonderful and professional people!
Valve Photoshoot
Mann Co. hosted an (unofficial) Valve photoshoot in the Waverly hotels lobby, with Ellen & John making a special appearance for the cosplayers! While TF2 still did (as expected) dominated our numbers, the Portal gang came out in full force with a Gordon and a Nick comin’ in to represent some of the other properties.
TF2: Meet the Updates (of 18 Years)
Skymin successfully held a panel discussing the most important updates in TF2’s long life. From the addition of crates altering gaming forever, to updates that laid the groundwork for the communities continued support throughout the years and even talking about the time Demoman was found dead in a ditch for a week, Skymin was very happy she didn’t have to cram this panel into an hour 🙂
Ellen & John’s Cameo at Game That Tune!
By jumping through a series of hoops, Skymin was able to coordinate having Ellen & John appear at their music trivia panel to perform “Still Alive” for the audience as a special surprise.
